Columbus Family Academy

The theme “The Winds of Discovery” enlarges the historical context of Columbus’s “discovery” of America to embrace and explore the greater forces of Nature that shape our existence. Thus the currents of the wind and the water open the children to an array of subjects through images that represent phenomena affected by these ever-present currents. The panels of sculpture are integrated in the mosaic of brick panels becoming “windows” into new worlds of discovery.
